- what is the expected use of these 2 keys (optional? required?)
- are there incompatible uses of these 2 keys

- suppose a depot computes checksum for each block and stores it in its allocation table.
- can an IBP_Manage command invoke a recheck?
- could this be a use of X_Probe
- can IBP_Manage add another command?
